Hi, my name is Bert.<br/><br/>I am proud to say that I am a lap cat. Ahhhh, yes.....so many would love to have me curl up on their laps so that we can be cozy together on the couch watching TV or enjoying other couch related activities. <br/><br/>When my foster mom found me I was living with my friend Ernie outside in a community cat shelter. She fed me daily.<br/><br/>One day she saw me limping and took me to a nice Veterinarian who made me well. I recovered in my foster mom's house and have lived inside since then. <br/><br/>Like so many outside cats everyday I appreciate the transition to a calm safe home with a litter box and unlimited attention and food. PS: I love using my litter box and have never had an accident.<br/><br/>But I love sitting on my foster mom's lap more than eating. I make good choices, don't I?<br/><br/>I love a long recliner lap where I can stretch all my legs out. Would you like to stretch your legs out and have a happy, warm real kitty blanket covering them?<br/><br/>My fur is very soft and doesn’t really shed. <br/><br/>I love Churus and will be so thankful when you offer me my favorite treat. <br/><br/>My foster mom says that I am trainable but no tricks yet. Would you like to help me fetch?<br/><br/>I like the screen porch and understands that I sleep in the cat room at night with the door closed. You may let me sleep with you at night. Guess we'll both learn what room you would like to offer to me.<br/><br/>I live with two old foggie felines. I groom my old cats buddies until they are annoyed, followed by a stare down and paw throwing. I can't understand why they don't want my massage and cleaning to go on all day long. <br/><br/>I would love to be the only cat or live with some younger kittens that I can run and play with ...and groom. As I told you before I do love grooming cats. <br/><br/>I have been told that I am a good boy. <br/><br/>I like to play and wrestle. I love wand toys. I have adapted to indoor sounds. I love both horizontal and vertical scratchers. <br/><br/>I also like to look out the window at the squirrels and birds.
