BENY's Story

Being surrendered to the shelter has been difficult for me. My owner could no longer care for me. This place is confusing. I am not sure where the dogs are that I hear barking. I am doing my best keeping my spirits up, but sometimes sleeping is my escape. I am quiet, I enjoy attention but prefer it to be all the time in my home. I am 2 years old. My tiger markings are mackerel swirls. in dark rich tones. I hope you can come soon to meet me. Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
