Benji's Story

Meet Benji, a one-year-old orange & white cutie (born 11/10/24) with a heart as big as his meows. He came to a fellow rescuer in January after being surrendered by a young man who didn’t realize his male and female cats would reproduce—twice—so he asked for our help in vetting and rehoming them. This sweet boy is affectionate, gentle, and loves to chat—he’s very vocal and will happily serenade you with his meows. Benji thrives on attention, especially head and back rubs, and will gladly curl up in your lap or snuggle close whenever possible. He’s a climbing enthusiast who loves perching up high on his tower, watching the world from above. Scratchers and cat trees are his playgrounds—Benji especially enjoys a good scratch while surveying his kingdom. He tends to be territorial around cats so he'd be happiest as your one and only. Benji is highly food-motivated, though he does have a sensitivity to changing dry foods. He prefers shredded or flaked wet food over pâté and will happily follow you around for treats. Food is definitely his love language! He is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Benji will take place there, giving you a chance to see his sweet personality in action! Book your visit at https://www.purrfect-lounge.com. His adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Benji is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered.
