Benito and Bunny's Story
Meet Benito and Bunny👋! This pair of bonded brothers came to Fishtails after a good samaritan found them as strays in South Philadelphia. Until a few weeks ago, these brothers were exclusively living in their finders' basement as a short-term solution to avoid them returning to the street.

One of our amazing fosters was able to take the duo in, where they decompressed and quickly came out of their shells within about a weeks' time. At 7-8 months old, these brothers are certainly bonded and will need to be adopted together. They like to sleep, eat, and play together 😻. They're also nearly identical 👯♂️ -- Benito is slightly larger than Bunny, and Benito is also the more outgoing of the two (and slightly protective of Bunny)! Given their origin story, they may take a week or two to warm up to new people, but once they do, they'll be purring in your lap for snuggles and treats. While we don't feel Benito and Bunny need an experienced adopter, we do recommend their adopter be someone who is patient and able to let them decompress somewhere quiet for a week or two until they are more adjusted to their forever home💘. Benito and Bunny have not been cat-tested just yet, but would likely do well with another cat as long as they are friendly and respectful.

Ready to make Benito and Bunny a part of your family forever? The rescue does not provide transportation for any animals. Transportation is the responsibility of the adopter.

** All kittens are spayed/neutered once age appropriate at the cost of the rescue. All kittens will have age appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption **
