Ben

Ben is a handsome 14-year-old male with sleek black fur that makes him look much younger. Although very shy with new people, he thrives on human companionship and loves gentle petting. Ben proves that you can teach an old cat new tricks! By "bribing" with Temptations treats, Ben has come to enjoy being groomed. (He tends to shed a little, so the Furminator grooming tool comes in very handy.)

Ben's favorites pastimes are hanging out with his foster mom, napping on a window ledge or soft fluffy bed and playing with his new catnip mouse.

Ben is in very good shape for his age with blood work revealing no issues. He eats a senior diet- both wet and dry. He has excellent litter box manners. He is sometimes vocal at night, but not constantly.

Ben is not too fond of the much younger cats in his foster home; when they attempt to come into his space, he chases them away. It would therefore be best for him to be adopted as a solo cat to someone who is home a lot and can give him the attention he deserves.
