Ben's Story

Ben came in with his littermate Jerry. He is a little bit skittish from spending most of his life outdoors however, he LOVES his delectable treats and warms up pretty quick. He 's not one that likes to be held but once he trusts you, he enjoys being petted and will make a great companion. He is fine with other cats and if you are looking for a pair... his brother Jerry would fit the bill!

Town of Newburgh Animal Control & Shelter's Adoption Policy
If you like dogs and cats, we have wonderful guys and gals just sitting here as patiently as they can until "their" day comes to leave us. We will miss them because we love them all....but we know there is a better place "somewhere" with a special "someone" who will love them like we do.      You can stop by our office during business hours to pick up an adoption application or give us a call or email and we will be glad to get one to you. Seniors who adopt a Senior dog, our adoption fee is waived. If you are a veteran, please check out Pets for Patriots before adopting.
