Bees Knees's Story

Bees Knees has come a long way in a short amount of time. When she arrived in our care in February, she was suffering from a devastating leg injury that required an amputation. While she recovered physically, Bee was still a very shy girl who preferred the safety of her flower bed and would patiently wait for gentle pets and chin scratches from a distance.

Since moving into her foster home, Bees confidence has blossomed. With the help of her patient foster mom and two friendly resident cats, shes discovered just how wonderful indoor life can be. This once-timid colony cat now spends her days following her feline friends to the best sunbeams, enjoying grooming sessions with her kitty companions, and becoming more curious about the people around her.

Bee is still a gentle, sensitive soul who will need a patient adopter willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through more each day. Watching her transform from a frightened cat into one who actively seeks out companionship has been incredibly rewarding.

Despite being a tripod, Bee doesnt let anything slow her down. Shes proof that resilience, patience, and a little love can work wonders. We believe Bee will be happiest in a quiet home with one or more friendly resident cats to help show her the ropes and provide the companionship she clearly enjoys. With the right feline friends and a patient human by her side, Bee will continue to flourish and become a wonderful companion.

---

Submit an Adoption Application to be considered:
https://www.tailshigh.org/home/adoption-application/

Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved.
