Bee's Story

This super sweet kitten has been in foster since she was about 4 weeks old needing some extra love and support as she learned to eat solid food while taking meds for a mild illness. She started learning to eat, getting healthier and has grown into a spunky, chatty, independent kitten with her sisters' Fiona and Flossie. Bee has grown up in an active foster home with other adult cats and two very large cat-friendly dogs. She is truly an active kitten - bolting all over the house looking for toys to bat around and chase, while stopping for cuddles and love from her human foster parents. Bee would love to be adopted with another kitten or join a home with other animals as she's truly having the best time when she's in cahoots with another fur-family member.

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues.  Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted.  Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore.  Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens). Kitty Corner is open for adoptions on Saturday, Sunday & Mo
