Bee's Story

Meet Bee!

Sweet, Gentle, and Learning to Play | Loves Pets & Scritches | Best as an Only Pet

Bee is an incredibly loving boy who just needs a minute to warm up-and once he does, he'll melt your heart. He adores attention and can't get enough of chin scratches, booty pats, and even belly rubs (his fluffy belly is not a trap!). Bee will chirp happily to tell you how much he's enjoying the love, and he's even started to settle onto laps for cuddles-showing great promise as a future lap cat.

Bee has a history of shyness and anxiety, but with the help of fluoxetine (a common, affordable medication used for both cats and dogs), he's made wonderful progress. This gentle support has helped him feel calmer and more secure, and it has been very effective in reducing the behaviors tied to his anxiety.

Because Bee is most comfortable without other pets around, he'll thrive best as the only pet in the home. While he shows interest in other cats, sharing his space makes him anxious, and he truly relaxes when he can soak up all the love for himself.

Bee is still finding his groove with playtime but shows growing interest and, with time, will likely blossom into a playful companion. A calm, patient home will help him feel safe and allow his sweet personality to shine.

Notable Features:

White face with grey accents and a spot on his left flank
Loves brushing, chin rubs, and all-over pets
Affectionate once settled, with a gentle, chirpy way of "talking"

If you're looking for a tenderhearted companion who's been given the right support to thrive, Bee is ready to buzz into your life as your one-and-only.

-----------------------------------------

If you're interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
