Bebe's Story

Spayed Female
1 1/2 Years Old
9 Pounds
$40

This 1½-year-old Domestic Shorthair is a beautiful brown tabby with a gentle heart. She’s a lovely young cat who is just looking for a calm, caring home where she can feel safe and truly settle in.

Right now, she’s a bit scared and overwhelmed in the shelter environment, which is completely understandable. Despite that, she’s shown just how sweet she really is—she enjoys being held and finds comfort in gentle affection.

She does well with dogs and kids, making her a great fit for a family setting. However, she would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can relax without the stress of other feline companions.

With a little patience and a lot of love, this nice girl is sure to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion. If you’re looking for a soft, cuddly cat who just needs a chance to feel secure, she could be the perfect match.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.

Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
