My name is Beatrix, but my friends call me the main character.<br/><br/>I’m an approximately 4 year-old brown and white tabby with striking green eyes, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. I know exactly who I am and what I want in life: humans, affection, and your undivided attention. Other cats? Hard pass. I shine brightest as the one and only feline star of the household, and I promise I’ll give you more than enough love in return.<br/><br/>I’m incredibly sweet and affectionate. I love being carried around, will happily curl up in your lap, and if you let me, I’ll ride on your shoulder like a parrot to keep an eye on everything you’re doing. Wherever you go, I’ll probably be right there. Humans are my favorite thing in the world, and I never get tired of being loved (or admired). I also absolutely love a good cardboard box. Expensive toys? No thanks, just give me your leftover boxes! <br/><br/>My journey hasn’t been a straight line. I first came to the sanctuary in the summer of 2024 with my litter of kittens, and after raising them, I was adopted. Unfortunately, I was returned recently because I didn’t get along with the other cat in the home. That experience helped everyone learn what I already knew! I truly do best when I don’t have to share the spotlight.<br/><br/>I enjoy playing with toys, soaking up attention, and being part of your daily routine. I’ve never lived with dogs before, so if there are dogs in my future home, I’d need slow, respectful introductions, ideally with smaller dogs or no more than one or two, and a space of my own where I can feel safe and confident.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a cat who will adore you, follow you, cuddle you, and make you feel like the most important person in the world, I might just be your girl. I’m ready to settle into a home where I can finally be exactly who I am — loved, cherished, and front and center. <br/><br/>I am up to date on vaccines and have been dewormed, spayed, and Combo Tested Negative.<br/><br/>The cost to adopt is $125.00. The adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that is located at www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt<br/><br/>Once your completed application has been reviewed, the humans will contact you with questions and/or set an appointment for you to meet me.
