Being a little different has never bothered Beatrice and her foster parents believe these quirks just make her even more special. This grey and white beauty is always happy and loves to be the center of attention. When she is excited, she wags her stumpy tail as if she's a puppy! Perhaps she was a puppy in a past life given her energetic spirit and bubbly personality. Beatrice is ready to be someone's loyal companion and best friend!<br/><br/>During her time in foster, Beatrice was diagnosed with a regressive FeLV infection. FeLV is an infection that affects a cat's immune system and often gives them a shortened lifespan. Thankfully, Beatrice has regressive FeLV which means her body has fought off the infection enough to make the virus go dormant. Many cats with regressive FeLV live happy and healthy lives with normal lifespans. While she is not currently contagious to other cats, she could potentially become contagious in the future if her FeLV were to become progressive. Beatrice is looking for a home that will be proactive with her health and keep her up to date on her vaccines since illness and stress can be a potential trigger for the virus to progress. Due to her regressive FeLV, Beatrice is looking for a home with her buddies Elsje and Kyle (who also have regressive FeLV), or to a home with other cats with regressive FeLV.
