Bear's Story

Meet Bear, a senior love currently being fostered by Tabby & Jack's Stoughton. Stop in to visit him!

Some facts-
Name: Bear (or whatever terms of endearment you choose)
Age: Thirteen years young!

In his own words: I love the company of people and I don't mind polite dogs. Lots of perches and cozy places are grand. Catnip is king! I'll give you lots of love and will ask you for hugs. I don't mind you cleaning my ears. It feels good! I'm into toys, birdwatching, and did I mention catnip?

Nutrition and care: Bear does quite well on a raw diet. A good fish oil and joint supplement is awesome for his skin and joint health as he ages since he is showing some signs of arthritis. I bet he'd love bone broth! (Edit: He does!).
He is currently shaved. He loves being combed with a very fine tooth comb. It will prevent those tangles from coming back.

Health: Bear tested FIV positive. That just means he may have a lower immune system, but can live a normal, long life. FIV+ cats can safely live with negative cats as long as there is no fighting since FIV is passed via deep bite wounds. Bear also has dental disease and mild stable early CKD.

Est. DOB January 2013. he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV.

Adopters will also receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our pet store partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and/or All Paws).

Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application.

Apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFR/Cat
