Bear's Story
**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Bear is a strikingly handsome boy with sleek, shiny black fur and the sweetest face you could imagine. This loving gentleman recently found himself in foster care after his devoted human was diagnosed with dementia and moved to a memory care facility where pets aren’t allowed. Through no fault of his own, Bear is now searching for a new person to love.

At around 5 years old, Bear is in the prime of his life and ready to be someone’s constant companion. If you’ve been dreaming of a true lap cat, Bear is absolutely your guy. He’s outgoing, affectionate, and has no hesitation about hopping right onto your lap to request pets and attention. He thrives on human companionship and is happiest when he’s close to his person.

Bear has made it clear that he prefers to be the only cat in the home, as he hasn’t gotten along well with other felines. However, he has lived successfully with dogs and would do fine with a calm, cat-friendly pup. He should also do well with older, gentle children who understand how to respectfully interact with animals.

Bear has so much love left to give and is ready to fill his next home with warmth, purrs, and plenty of lap time.

Could Bear be the loyal cuddle buddy you’ve been waiting for?

The adoption fee for Bear is $70

Bear is around 5 years old. He has been vaccinated and neutered. He is litter box trained.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info
