Beans's Story
Beans - Male - DOB- 4/1/2025

**MUST BE AN ONLY CAT, His Heart belongs to Humans, not other felines**

Beans is the kind of cat whose heart is enormous—but he's been waiting for the right home to feel safe enough to show it.

He has a playful, athletic spirit and loves everything a cat was born to do: racing after wand toys, climbing cat trees, stretching out on sunny window perches, and proudly carrying his treasures from room to room. Hes incredibly intelligent with strong hunter instincts, and watching him stalk a feather toy is like watching a tiny panther in action.

One of Beans sweetest quirks is that he likes to leave gifts for the people he loves. His foster family would often wake up to find socks, slippers, scarves, or even Christmas stockings carefully placed at their bedside overnight—a thoughtful little offering from Beans himself.

Beans also loves his evening stroller adventures and happily takes in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood from the comfort of his cat stroller. And if you want to become his favorite person? Shake a bag of treats or simply say the word treats. No matter where he is or what he's doing, Beans will come sprinting from the other side of the house to see whats being offered.

What we've learned over time is that Beans doesn't enjoy sharing his kingdom. In a multi-cat household, he often seems emotionally on guard, as though he's worried his space or resources aren't completely his. Since having his own quiet space, we've watched a completely different side of him blossom. He now seeks out affection on his own, curls up in laps, asks for pets, and melts into long cuddle sessions. We truly believe Beans has been living in a situation that has kept him emotionally on guard. In a home where he doesn't feel he has to compete, we can absolutely see him becoming someones constant shadow—the kind of cat who quietly follows you from room to room and becomes your deeply devoted companion.

Beans thrives with: A predictable routine, plenty of fresh food and water bowls, cat trees and sturdy scratching posts, sunny window perches and regular interactive playtime.

He's a deeply feeling boy who prefers to come to you on his own terms. Once you've earned his trust, the bond is incredibly rewarding. Because he's a sensitive soul, we believe Beans would do best in a calm home without young children or lots of commotion. Give him consistency, a peaceful environment, and a family willing to understand him, and we think you'll discover an incredibly loyal best friend.

"IF YOU ARE WANTING TO ADOPT; An adoption application must be completed through NALA Rescue.
