Battle's Story
Battle is a big, battle-scarred orange boy with a soft heart. Once a frightened stray, he was fed outdoors by a kind person for over a year before he slowly learned to trust and chose to move indoors. Now in foster care, he’s taken beautifully to indoor life.

He’s fastidious, litter trained, and very easy going and respectful of other cats. If faced with any cat aggression, his approach is simply to turn the other cheek and walk away. He knows he could absolutely win in a fight but he always chooses peace and serenity.

Battle is still sensitive to loud noises and doesn’t love people looming over him. But meet him at his level — especially on a bed — and he melts into a total cuddle cat, showing his belly and kneading the air like a kitten again.

After a tough start, Battle is ready for comfort, safety, and a calm home where he can continue to blossom. He’s experienced street life and has chosen the cozy life. He doesn’t want to go back.
