Basil is growing into a wonderful companion! <br/><br/>Meet Basil, a sweet young girl who is still getting used to the sights, sounds and new experiences of shelter life. She can be a little nervous in unfamiliar surroundings, but she’s already showing us that she is learning to trust and feel more comfortable around people.<br/><br/>One of Basil’s favorite discoveries so far is how wonderful pets can be! With some gentle attention, she happily purrs and enjoys the affection. It’s heartwarming to watch her slowly come out of her shell and learn that people can be a source of comfort and love. <br/><br/>Basil will do best with someone who understands that building confidence takes time and is willing to give her the patience, kindness and love she needs to blossom.
