Bartholomeow's Story

Are you a person who keeps giving ridiculous men a chance because you are convinced, beneath all the nonsense, there is a good boy who just needs love and patience?

Well then, meet adoptable Bart :)

Bart has now been adopted and returned four times. Like many emotionally complicated men, he is handsome, charming, deeply lovable and yet somehow has not been able to make the relationship work on the first, or fourth, try.

Here is Barts thing: he needs to be the only cat in the home. He is a bit of a socially awkward guy and does not know how to read the room. He is not trying to be mean. He simply has the social awareness of a man who continues texting after someone has said, I need space.

As a single cat, however, Bart is perfectly perfect. He is a handsome sleek house panther with a strangely floofy tail and one of the weirdest, silliest faces you will ever see. He purrs, makes biscuits, sleeps on your legs, and enjoys watching television with you.

His two most recent adopters absolutely adored him and were devastated to give him up. Bart has made mistakes. Bart has ignored boundaries. Bart has loved and lost. And loved and lost, and loved and lost, and loved and lost.

But we still believe in him. In the right single-cat home, he will become someones absolute best friend.

So, adopt Bart. Give this perfectly imperfect man his fifth (and hopefully final) chance.

---

Submit an Adoption Application to be considered:
https://www.tailshigh.org/home/adoption-application/

Completing the application does not guarantee it will be approved. We are an all volunteer group and unfortunately are unable to answer every phone call, adoption inquiry, or application. Please understand you will be contacted only if your application is approved.
