Meet Bart, a handsome 3-month-old kitten and the crowd favorite. Rescued from a crowded multi-pet situation with his mom and siblings, Bart spent time in a local shelter before moving into an OARS foster home. Since then, he has blossomed into a relaxed, easygoing companion who enjoys relaxing with his humans.<br/><br/>Bart has excellent manners and a sweet personality - just an all around good guy. He greets people at the door and will sit waiting patiently for his turn to be picked up and pet. He enjoys active play with his siblings and mom. We often catch him sitting on his hind legs playing with worm toys.<br/><br/>In his foster home, Bart gets along great with school-aged children and a respectful 40-pound dog.<br/><br/>This little kitten is a bundle of playful energy and needs a partner-in-crime! To make sure they stay happy and thoroughly entertained, OARS only adopts kittens out in pairs, or into homes that already have a resident kitten or young cat to play with. Bart would however be adopted with is mother, Eleanore.<br/><br/>All OARS cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had dewormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. This helps us process the application within 2 days.<br/><br/>We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they can play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.<br/>To save as many lives as possible, we partner directly with other rescues and shelters to focus our efforts on overcrowded facilities and kitties who require extra TLC to prepare them for adoption. Because of this, we cannot accept cats directly from the public. Everything we do is fueled by your generosity!
