Barry is the polite older gentleman you have always wanted in your life. <br/><br/> Barry is an estimated 7-8yo sweetie pie who will quickly become your new best friend. Barry was rescued as a stray but has adjusted farily quickly to home life. He must have had a loving home before he ended up on the street. Barry is an incredibly friendly boy who loves pets, being picked up for hugs, and being next to you whenever there's a chance. He can be picky with his foods and treats but when he finds something he likes he REALLY likes it. Due to dental disease, Barry had to have a dental which causes him to have a little cute blep on occasion. Despite this, he can eat wet and dry very well!<br/><br/>Barry likes to play with his human, chasing wand toys, but is also sometimes happy to just entertain himself. Barry loves to nap, cuddle and hang with you while you're Netflix and Chilling. If you're looking for a gentle, well-mannered, chill lap cat, Barry is your guy. Don't think of Barry as lazy though, he is a very hard worker making biscuits by the dozen every single day. Please also be open to lots of purring and happy kitty sounds. Barry is a fabulous conversationalist and loves to ask for affection and food!<br/><br/>Barry is the perfect cat for an adult household, or one with older kids. He is a calm and loving companion with a soft and gentle temperment. If you're looking for a devoted friend, Barry will surely bring warmth and love to your home. <br/><br/>We aren't sure how Barry would be with cats but he seems to be good with dogs, and given his gentle and curious temperament, we assume he'd probably would be good with cats too, with a proper slow introduction.<br/><br/>Barry's recent blood work showed indicators for mild hyperthyroidism and the second round of blood work showed the medication is helping. He takes his medication once a day in the morning and does not put up much of a fuss taking it. The vet said he should have his thyroid rechecked in 4 months.<br/><br/>Vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies.
