Meet Barley

Hello everybody, my name is Barley! I'm a handsome, timid boy born in October of 2016. I was found living outside with a lot of other cats, but soon after, some nice people scooped me up and brought me to MaxFund for my own safety. When I arrived, I was very skittish and uncomfortable with people. After being so used to a hard life outside, can you really blame me for reacting this way? I'm still very shy, but the other cats in this room have been very nice to me, and we're becoming good friends! I wish I could say that I feel just as safe around humans, but it's still a work in progress. I'm sure I'll be able to show people how sweet I can be in time. I'd love a forever home that would be willing to be patient with me and understand that I need some space. Won't you give this shy boy a chance?
