Barbara's Story

Hi there!

My name is Barbara and I am an approximately, two-year old DSH calico girl who was brought to SCAS as a stray. No one came to claim me so I am now on the search for my forever home.

When I first arrived, I was scared and spicy. Given time and some TLC from staff, I have come out of my shell a lot and have shown myself to be a very gentle, sweet girl. I would prefer a quieter environment as the staff feel a busier household might be too stressful for me. At this time, the staff is unsure how I am with other felines, and as I arrived stray, my history with dogs or children are also unknowns.

As I am not yet spayed, adopters must presently live in Stafford, King George, Prince William, Fauquier, Spotsylvania, Caroline, Culpeper, or the City of Fredericksburg. My adoption fee is $35 and adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please bring a picture ID and/or something depicting your current address at the time of adoption.
