Banks's Story

Hi, I'm Banks! First things first: I love other cats. Like, really love them. They're my people. My crew. My zoomie squad. If there's a confident kitty around, I'll be right behind them, chasing tails, pouncing shadows, and playing like I'm in a feline action movie. Playing chase is kinda my thing. I'll wrestle, I'll leap, I'll bolt down the hallway like a tiny furry lightning bolt - especially if one of my cat friends starts the game. It's the best part of my day. Now, humans are a bit different. I might not be the first to run over for snuggles, but give me time and space, and I'll come check you out. Especially if there's food involved. Or better yet - butt scratches. Yeah, I'll lean in for those once I know you're safe. I like to have my own quiet spots too. A cozy nook, a soft blanket, a place to observe. But don't worry - once I've scoped you out and see you're not scary, I'll start showing my playful, goofy side. It just takes me a little time. If you've got other friendly cats and a chill home where I can relax, play, and slowly get to know you, I'm all in. I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and am negative for FIV/FELV. You bring the treats and the love - I'll bring the zoomies and my soft little heart.

Where Did I Come From? I was found meowing for help at a Bank here in Greenville, fitting for the name huh? It took 9 people to rescue me from the drain I was hanging out at, and lots of food and treats of course. The change to indoor life was a tad overwhelming, but I am definitely getting used to it!
