Our Mission
Welcome to the Feline Freedom Society, a heart-centered cat rescue dedicated to providing a safe haven for special needs cats in Eastern North Carolina. We believe every cat deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life—no matter their physical or medical challenges. Whether they’re blind, deaf, have mobility issues, or are missing limbs our mission is to give them the love, support, and care they need to thrive.
We’re more than just a rescue; we’re a community that advocates for these wonderful, resilient cats who need a little extra help finding their forever homes. Through careful, compassionate care, we work to ensure they live their best lives, both in foster care and beyond.
Adoption Policy
Application is required. Vet reference is also required, if no vet reference (no current pets) is available then three personal references are. All current pets must be altered and up to date. If renting, a landlord contact is required to ensure your lease allows cats.
