Banjo's Story

If you’re interested in adopting please fill the Google Forms Questionnaire:
https://forms.gle/5oNMtHNMocb562SQA
then text me 951 318-1262 for faster response

Banjo is a 2023 kitty who first started becoming my friend as I cleaned litter boxes. He would, and still does, rub on me and roll around looking all silly and cute as he solicits attention.

Banjo took his time to love me so will be very careful with who he gives he whole heart too! He is still a bit insecure, careful & shy... but is friendly and becoming more and more attention seeking. He, like all his siblings, became my friend while I was cleaning litter boxes lol
He now seeks a lot more attention all around the house. In the kitchen, on the couch… but mostly when I am sitting in the recliner. He patiently waits for there to be room on my lap and is willing to share with those he deems Banjo friendly! Banjo is attention seeking in bed, lying next to me and even getting belly rubs!!!! He is still super shy/careful and will do so much better in a home without so much competition for my attention and without so many other cats and their different personalities

Banjo also enjoys hanging out in the catio, interacting playtime with the cat wand/fishing pole, hanging out with the others, climbing cat trees to bird watch and sunbathing.

All the kitties are used to living in a busy environment with lots of kitties and their individual personalities as well as with big dogs, all whom I lovingly call booby traps. Banjo, and the others, will absolutely benefit from more individual attention in a quieter home with cat savvy people

It always takes a leap of faith but trust me you will LOVE this sweet boy, hopefully more than I do!

Back story:

These kitties, I call the Music Kitties, have a story, like most do.

First picked up, and held, by an old couple inside their 400sf travel trailer for months but couldn't keep them so brought them to a shelter were they were understandably terrified and freaked, so deemed unadoptable.

They were spayed, neutered, and brought to me underweight do to the stress of being in the shelter (two lost more than a pound each) and with upper respiratory infections.

Understandably it took time to gain their trust & friendship.

Harper was the second one to become my friend and is super silly, friendly and absolutely loves to cuddle with his favorite place being in bed where he is super silly and rolls over for belly rubs and will often end up sleeping on his back up against me. He also will seek my lap... when it's not busy. He loves attention everywhere.

Mandolin took 5-8 months before she decided shed be my friend and is the most social with new people visitors, and new situations than her brothers are. Mandolin is super friendly. A little chatty, and absolutely loves to cuddle with her favorite place being in bed or my lap. Even when my lap is crowded she works herself in until she finds a spot to squeeze into. Mandolin is like a toddler who chats and DEMANDS attention when I’m on the phone. She really demands attention everywhere and from anyone who has hands that aren’t petting her! Lol

Banjo will be very careful who he gives his heart to and he may not think he’s ready for a forever, cat savvy, family to give him all the love and time he may need to adjust, but he will.

Again If you’re interested in adopting please fill the Google Forms Questionnaire:
https://forms.gle/5oNMtHNMocb562SQA
then text me 951 318-1262 for faster response
To see all the kitties available for adoption please cut & paste
https://www.petfinder.com/member/us/ca/moreno-valley/cats-needing-homes-ca3008/
.
