Banjo's Story

Banjo is an older cat that used to roam around a local park. He was rushed to us by a concerned park-goer after he was attacked by something (either another cat or an opossum or raccoon). He had wounds along his back and scars from old injuries. Luckily, his wounds were not severe - and with some antibiotic and TLC, he is now ready to find his forever home! He has been neutered and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. He is very sweet, and craves attention and love! He can be quite vocal and often meows for attention! He is litter-trained and has been microchipped! If you are interested in adopting Banjo, please visit www.missysheart.com/adoption-application.

Missy's HEART, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Potential owners fill out an application and set up a visitation with one of our adoptable pets. Applications and appointments are accessible through our website. A $30 deposit is required to reserve an appointment which is applied towards the adoption fee or refunded if the adoption is declined. Potential owners may be asked questions by staff regarding plans for the pet's future care and observed interacting with the pet. If the staff's opinion is that the pet and adopter are a good fit, the adopter pays the remaining adoption fee, signs some paperwork, and takes the pet home. Our staff may decline the adoption if they believe it would not be a good fit. We also also have a foster parent application if you are wanting to spoil a temporary companion. The foster application is also available on our website.
