Banana's Story

I received an email asking for help like I do every day, but this one was different for me. The email was coming from a lovely person who lives in Oman (a country near the UAE) and a country I had an opportunity to visit. She rescued 4 cats from the streets of Oman and cared for them. Her family is moving and there are no shelters for cats and the rescues were already overwhelmed. She cares for their well being so much that she is offering to pay their expenses to have them flown here (which is another ordeal in itself).

I didn't reply right away, but then after some thought I realized it was simply an email asking for help and that is what rescue is all about. I decided to take this venture and help. Two cats Mango and Banana will be coming at the end of June and the other two females four months later. They will need a week to decompress from their long flight from Oman to Egypt and then Egypt to Mississauga.

This is what we know about Banana: Banana actually prefers humans over other cats. He is always begging for attention from humans. Although he does get along with the other cats, he really doesn't care to hang out with them. He loves his treats. If he chooses you as his favorite human, you might find him a little too clingy haha and also very vocal.

Contact us if you would like to meet and adopt this handsome international cat - info@WeRescueCats.ca
