Bambi's Story
This girl is a ball of energy and she never slows down. We always say she has more energy than the Energizer battery . She loves everyone she meets and she is just so much fun.
When we had her spayed last month, she was diagnosed with petcus Excavatum. We had her at Blue Pearl which is a specialist and they said she did not need surgery. We waited another month for her to get a little bit bigger did more X-rays and Blue Pearl still said they do not recommend surgery that she should be fine.

Pectus excavatum in kittens—also known as funnel chest or flat-chested syndrome—is a birth defect where the breastbone and lower ribs grow inward, creating a sunken chest that can squeeze the heart and lungs.
Symptoms and Signs are a Sunken chest: A visibly flat, narrow, or hollow indentation in the lower chest area. Breathing trouble: Fast breathing, heavy effort when breathing, or shallow breaths. Low energy: Tiring out very quickly, playing less, or staying weak and small compared to littermates. Frequent sickness: Ongoing chest or upper airway infections.
Treatment and Care:
No treatment needed: Mild cases where the kitten breathes fine and plays normally do not require medical fixing.
Surgical splinting: Moderate to severe cases require an external moldable splint or cast placed by a vet when the kitten is very young (ideally 2 to 4 months old) to gently pull and hold the chest bone outward while their bones are still soft.

So sweet Bambi is available to find a great home.

Please Do Not send an inquiry.
