Bambi's Story

Meet Bambi

Bambi is a beautiful light gray and white tabby girl with a soft, gentle presence to match her delicate coloring. At just over a year old, she has the perfect balance of youthful sweetness and calm maturity. Bambi is mellow, relaxed, and wonderfully easy-going. She’s the kind of cat who brings a peaceful energy into the room. She absolutely loves to be petted and will happily soak up affection from her people. She’s not demanding — just quietly appreciative and content. We named her Bambi because of her light deer-like coloring and her soft, gentle spirit.

Bambi gets along great with other cats and has done beautifully in foster with both fellow foster kitties and resident cats. She would be happy as an only cat or with a friendly feline companion. Her experience with children is unknown, but given her gentle nature, a calm and respectful home would suit her best.

Bambi is a true little warrior. After coming into rescue, she became critically ill and required emergency surgery for intussusception, during which 27 inches of her intestines were removed. Her recovery was touch-and-go for a few weeks, but she fought her way back and is now fully recovered and thriving. She has gained her strength back and is ready for her next chapter.

Bambi was originally a stray surviving outside in Minneapolis. A kind neighbor brought her in and lovingly cared for her and her six babies until they were five weeks old, when they were surrendered to SNAP'T Cat Rescue. Bambi raised her kittens, survived a life-threatening surgery, and has shown nothing but quiet resilience through it all.

Bambi has done the hard work of motherhood and healing. Now she’s simply ready for a quiet, loving home where she can finally rest, feel safe, and be cherished.

Apply at snaptcats.org
