Bailey's Story

How this pet arrived: Bailey was brought in by a her previous owner on March 17, 2026.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Bailey, a fluffy and stunning girl with a big personality who is ready to reign as the beautiful queen of your household - on her terms, of course. While she is overall social and loves gentle petting (once she warms up), she prefers short, sweet sessions and believes strongly in "consent-based petting". Bailey is looking for humans who speak fluent cat Body Language and can recognize when her rippling coat or swishing tail means it is time for a break; respect her boundaries, and she will reward you with her sweet, sassy, and wonderfully expressive self. When she isn't supervising her kingdom, she is an active player who loves tunnels, foil balls, cat trees, and scratchers. She isn't a fan of other cats, but has done well with small visiting dogs and would thrive with adults only or older, respectful children who can respect her boundaries. To keep life running smoothly, an automatic feeder will help manage her 2 a.m. "empty bowl" concerts (seriously, she will wake you up for food), and a top-loading carrier paired with a Fear Free vet will ensure her transitions and check-ups remain drama-free. With a little patience, Bailey will be a delightful, playful companion for the right cat-savvy home! Come in and ask about adopting today! At SDHS:Bailey has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home! Overstimulated Cat: Bailey requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 10.36lbs Age: 10yrs 3mths 3wks Animal has been Spayed
