Bailey's Story

*** Bailey is in a foster home. ***

Bailey #15323: brown/black tabby & white, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 5/1/17

Cats: only pet
Dogs: no
Children: calm adult home

BACKGROUND: Bailey first came to The Rescue House when her guardians both lost their jobs and could no longer provide for her; she came back to our care five years later and is hoping her next home will be the perfect match!

PERSONALITY: Bailey is a very vocal and affectionate kitty who likes to talk to you and be around you... her purr motor switches on in a heartbeat and you always get a warm welcome when you come home! She’ll rub against you and roll around on the floor asking for pets. Bailey likes to be held close, cuddled, and doesn’t mind being carried. Laps are great. In fact, Bailey prefers pets and cuddles to toys (she doesn’t play too often or for too long), though she does enjoy a dynamite catnip kicker stick, sometimes a laser pointer, and definitely a cardboard scratcher. Since she likes the heights, a tall cat tree would be awesome. Bailey even wants your company for meals... she will nibble at her food, seek your attention, and then go back to eating. It’s a social activity! She is an adorably cute companion kitty who will make sure you’re never lonely.

COMPATIBILITY: Bailey needs to be the only pet in a quiet adult home. She does best with observant cat-knowledgeable people who can recognize body language for the rare times when she isn’t feeling her typical cheerful self and understand that she needs a little space. She’ll soon be back to chilling with you and enjoying pets.

Bailey is ready to be your Best Feline Friend! Will you open your heart and home to her?
