🖤 Meet Bagheera 🖤<br/><br/>Our stunning “house panther” Bagheera has quite the story to tell.<br/><br/>Several months ago, this handsome boy came to us terrified, shut down, and carrying a severe bite wound along the side of his face. It was clear life had not been kind to him. Beneath those frightened eyes, though, was a cat who desperately wanted a chance to feel safe.<br/><br/>With excellent veterinary care, lots of patience, and plenty of good groceries, Bagheera has made an incredible recovery — both physically and emotionally.<br/><br/>Today, his wounds have healed beautifully, his sleek black coat shines, and his personality is beginning to blossom. While he may still need a little extra time to acclimate in a new environment, once he feels safe, the sweetest side of Bagheera emerges. The love is there — you simply have to earn his trust and allow him the grace to settle in at his own pace.<br/><br/>Bagheera would thrive with someone who understands that healing takes time and that the most rewarding bonds are often the ones built slowly. Watching this once-frightened boy learn to trust again has been nothing short of amazing.<br/><br/>Now all he needs is a forever home where he will never have to be afraid again. 🖤<br/><br/>Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.<br/><br/>All of our cats and kittens are rescued, or surrendered to us by their previous owners, and now seek loving, permanent homes.<br/><br/>All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.<br/><br/>We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.<br/><br/>Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations.
