Meet Backpack! <br/><br/>Backpack is a beautiful little black kitten with the cutest little white patch on her chest, born July 2nd, 2026. Her story started right here in Boonville, Missouri, when she was found in the middle of the street yelling and screaming for someone to help her! Of course, we couldn't leave her there, so we went and picked this little girl up—and from the moment we met her, we knew she was something special. <br/><br/>Backpack is an absolute sweetheart and is VERY food motivated! She can be a little shy when she first meets you, but she is learning that the world isn't so scary and that she has lots of friends here to teach her how to be a kitten.<br/><br/>She is learning how to play with the other kittens, including some of the rough-and-tough ones, and she's doing a great job keeping up! Don't let her size fool you—this little girl has ENERGY, athleticism, and personality to spare! <br/><br/>Backpack loves being picked up and getting some loving, but don't expect her to stay in your arms forever. She's got places to go, kittens to chase, toys to conquer, and plenty of zoomies to get out! She would much rather get a little cuddle, then say, "Okay, put me down—I've got things to do!"<br/><br/>And did we mention she LOVES HER FOOD?! This girl is definitely not going to let you forget dinner time!<br/><br/>Backpack isn't quite ready to head home just yet. We want to make sure she is healthy, happy, and completely ready for her big adventure. She should be ready to go in just a couple of weeks!
