Baby Goldie

Baby Goldie (5 -7years old.)<br/><br/>Baby Goldie is a handsome but overweight lady who is mostly black with numerous golden patches and stripes in her coat, hence her name. She needs a loving, patient, and responsible adopter who will help her lose some weight. Baby Goldie is heavy enough that she can’t run lightly over the floor the way some of her less heavy counterparts might. She is gentle and friendly, and she enjoys being scratched on the head. She's not yet brave enough to come out from her cat cave, but if you are patient, she will let you pet her head and shoulders while she wriggles on her side. She needs someone who has the patience and compassion to spend time with her and help her become the best - and lighter – kitty that she can be. I’ve helped a couple of my cats lose weight; it isn’t too difficult, and they are much happier, healthier, and more active for it. They also feel freer to share their love with me and the other animals in the household. Our adoption counselors and your veterinarian can help you get started with a healthy, slowly implemented diet for this beautiful cat.
