We gave her a professional shave to help her feel more comfortable and light on her feet; her long, dark fur will grow back in time, but for now, she is feeling much better rocking her new look! Baby also came to us already front-declawed, which makes her a bit more vulnerable and is part of the reason she treasures her comfort and safety so deeply. Adopting an older cat like Baby comes with so many wonderful perks. She is long past the "zoomies" and curtain-climbing stage, preferring a cozy nap and soft conversation over kitten chaos.
