Get to know Ayla! She is a beautiful mama cat with eyes that look just like the ocean. Now that her kittens are grown she’s hoping to find her forever home where she can be the center of attention. Ayla enjoys her morning routine, which consists of making biscuits bright and early and waking you up to her wonderful conversation skills where she tells you how much she enjoys morning cuddles. She is also a huge fan of churu snacks and loves mealtime.<br/><br/>Ayla’s foster home includes a medium size dog whom she loves head butting and giving affection to as much as she does with people. Ayla is ultimately looking for a forever home that can provide her the attention she desires, which could easily include other animal companions or not. <br/><br/>Currently in foster care in Anaheim. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
