Aya's Story

Hi, my name is Aya! I am 1.5 years old, and looking for my forever home. Number one, I am ADORABLE! I have super soft stripey brown tabby fur, beautiful golden eyes, and the cutest small chubby body.

I was found outside as a sick but friendly kitten. A kind neighbor reached out to OPP who took me into foster care, where I've thrived. I can be a little shy and it takes me time to get used to new people or new environments. But I'm very curious, so with a bit of patience, I'll quickly come out of my shell, and I promise you'll fall in love! Once I've chosen you as one of my people, you are CHOSEN for life!

I'm still very kitten-like at 1.5 years old. I love playing with other kitties and would love to have a cat friend(s) in my forever home. I get along great with other cats big and small. I'm new to dogs, but all interactions have gone well so far! As long as my adopters are committed to a safe and happy cat-dog introduction, OPP expects I'll do great.

My personality is funny, affectionate, curious, and playfyul. I LOVE attention, petting, and playtime with my humans. But I will happily keep myself occupied with toys when they are not available. I am a respectful and non-destructive girl, just lots of fun!

You may notice my eyes look a little different. This is because I had such bad viral eye infections as a kitten. My right eye does not produce its own tears so I get OTC human gel eye drops in one eye 2-3x daily in order to keep it healthy. I am a very good girl and don't fuss, so it's easy to put my eye drops in. Other than that, my eyes are healthy and no different than any other kitty.

I will come to my new home spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and combo tested negative. I always use the litterbox like a good kitty. Ask Operation Press Paws about adopting me today!

Operation Press Paws's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process requires an approved application and payment of an adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $60 for a single cat, $100 for a pair. This fee helps pay for the medical care and foster costs of our cats. We adopt cats as indoor pets only. When adopting young kittens, we strongly recommend adopting in pairs, as kittens with a playmate tend to thrive better and become happier, more well-adjusted adult cats. We do NOT under any circumstances allow declawing of cats or kittens adopted from our organization. To find out more about an adoptable cat, or to request a paper adoption application, please email operationpresspaws@gmail.com
