Avery's Story

This cute long-haired kitty is Avery!

Avery hasn't been at the shelter very long. He's pretty frightened right now, but that's normal considering he's only been here a couple days. We don't know a lot about his history. He seems like a shy kitty who's insecure and nervous to be at such a busy place. We get it!

Avery is looking for a quiet home to help him during this adjustment period. He's looking for a kind owner who will be patient and understanding. Hopefully it won't take him long to settle in if it's a relaxed environment.

If you're interested in Avery, call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 to schedule an appointment!

Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire's Adoption Policy
All adoptions are done on an appointment only basis, for specific animals. No animals have multiple families visiting them at one time, this wouldn't be fair to them or for you. Because of this, we do not book out appointment more than 24-48 hours in advance. We are CLOSED for browsing at this time to keep the stress level of the animals in our care as low as possible. Thank you for your understanding! We DONT have online applications, we prefer to have a open line of communication with our potential adopters. Our process is more educational based. Our adoption counselors will be able to tell you if the animal you're interested in will be able to go home the same day. Visit rescueleague.org to view our adoptable pets and call 603-472-3647 to schedule an appointment!
