Avenue's Story

Some people think adopting a bonded pair of cats is double the work. We think that the biggest problem you'll have with Street and Avenue is that they both want you to pet them with both hands -- at the same time! Street and Avenue are two 10-month-old brothers who came to Paws and Claws in December. As they've spent time in foster and in our shelter, they've gotten the chance to grow and let their personalities emerge. Street and Avenue are heavily bonded -- they fall asleep together, groom each other, and play rough all without skipping a beat. Avenue is the leader of the duo. When you try to stop petting him, he'll pull you back with a gentle extended paw. Street likes to observe a bit before diving into the action, but he isn't observing from far away. For the most part, he's just within arms reach, waiting to be invited into the cuddle session! After 160+ days in our care, Street and Avenue have become clear staff and volunteer favorites. Want to see why for yourself? Set up a meet-and-greet today!

Avenue is 10 months old and must be adopted with Street.
