What is Mesabi Humane Society’s adoption process?

We have a small adoption application for you to fill out. We ask for 3 references and a vet reference. We will need a copy of a valid ID. There is a 24-48 hour waiting period while we check references and go over your application. Our Adoption Fee for cats is $80.00 + tax and dogs are $200.00 + tax.

What is Avalon’s adoption fee?

Is Avalon good with kids?

Avalon is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Avalon good with other animals?

Avalon is good with dogs. It is not known if Avalon is good with other cats.

When can I meet Avalon?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
