Ava and Emma

AVA and EMMA are special and beautiful 16 week old sisters. They must be adopted together into a home without other animals or young children. They suffered abuse at a very young age when someone cut off one back leg of each kitten, and they came into our program from a good Samaritan. Now that they are spayed and vaccinated, they are looking for that special person to give them a forever loving home.<br/><br/>Ava – She has unique black and brown markings and white feet; Ava’s rear right leg was removed. She is braver than Emma, interacts with her foster mom, and purrs happily. <br/><br/>Emma – She has pretty brown and gold coloring, and her rear left leg was partly removed. She is hesitant of being held and petted but with a patient, kind adopter, Emma will blossom. She enjoys petting under her chin.<br/><br/>They both love to play, especially with the fleece wand and chasing balls around. They get around quite well, use the litter box, run, and love life. They use the scratching post and cardboard scratching pad. And, they enjoy watching out the windows at the birds and squirrels.<br/><br/>Need Special Home. As noted above, they must be adopted together into a home without other animals or children. The adopter needs to monitor their growth to assure they aren’t having problems as they mature. The girls are looking for a patient adopter who will give them a lot of love and kindness. Cats can live 18+ years so be sure you can give them a forever home.<br/><br/>Ava and Emma are spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, and have had all of their kitten distemper vaccinations.
