She was rescued from a large cat colony and brought into foster care, where she is finally experiencing what it means to be safe, warm, and truly cared for.

Since arriving in her foster home, Ava has come a long way and continues to grow more confident each day. She isn’t a fan of loud noises or noisy toys, but her playful side is starting to shine through. She enjoys batting around balls, playing with track-ball toys, and occasionally a wand toy will catch her interest. Recently, Ava has discovered the other kittens in her foster home and has been spotted happily joining in their games.

Ava has also learned that humans are pretty wonderful — especially when it comes to pets and scritches, which she rewards with a soft, happy purr. One of her favorite new discoveries is curling up in bed with her foster mom for quiet snuggle time. When she needs a break, Ava loves finding an elevated sunny spot where she can relax, observe, and enjoy some peaceful alone time.

While Ava is still working on her bravery skills, she is blossoming beautifully with patience and consistency. In a calm, stable home filled with kindness, she will continue to gain confidence and thrive. Because she’s still young and enjoys playing with kittens, Ava would do well in a home with a young cat who can be her buddy and playmate.

Ava would likely be happiest with older, cat-savvy children who understand how to respect her space. She’s currently being fostered with dogs and would do well in a home with a calm, cat-friendly pup.

This sweet girl has survived a tough beginning and truly deserves a peaceful life with people who will protect her, cherish her, and let her grow at her own pace.

Let this beautiful girl know what it finally feels like to be home.

Ava is around 1 year old. She has been spayed and vaccinated. She is litter box trained.

The adoption fee for Ava is $100.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info
