Meet Ava
This is Ava, a 3-year-old gal that came to HART from a rural Kentucky shelter with her sister Alina. They were adopted together from a family who already had an older cat in the household and for a few years, got along.
But for some reason, Ava was not getting along with the older cat and thru vet visits and changes in the household, Ava was returned to HART.
In a new foster home in a room by herself, she took a few days to "figure it out" and adjusted. She came out with the foster came to visit, got pets and sweet talk and all is good!
She is quiet and petite and would prefer to be the only kitty in the house. And she would love to come sit by you!
Ava prefers a home without other cats and dogs. Older children may be fine, as long as they are respectful of her space.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
