AVA's Story

Ava was left alone with her sisters in her home after their owner passed away. They were only used to one person their whole lives, and were understandably quite traumatized because they had to be trapped and removed from their home. They were not bonded, and her sisters, being the more outgoing ones, were already adopted.

Ava is extremely overwhelmed and has not come around very much so far. She seems to have been the most raumatized by the whole situation. She isn't mean, but she can't really be touched right now. Ava needs a quiet home and someone who is willing to give her lots of time and love her as she is, and work with her to make her feel safe again. She does come out at night when she feels safe.

If you are interested in trying to help Ava, we could do a foster-to-adopt, where we supply her needs while you work with her. Please contact us to discuss options!
