Autumn's Story

Autumn is a 8-10 years old female cat who has spent most of her life outdoors, giving birth to litter after litter of kittens. However, she is now adjusting to indoor life and enjoying the comforts of a safe and warm environment. Autumn is a bit shy and will need some time to warm up to her new surroundings and human companions. She may initially retreat to a quiet spot to observe things from a distance, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she will eventually come out of her shell. Autumn is a sweet and affectionate cat who is grateful for the chance to experience the comforts of indoor living.

Johnstown Animal Welfare Society's Adoption Policy

Adopters have to complete an application that includes personal references and a veterinary reference. I have volunteers that check on the references, and we confirm that they have properly vetted prior pets. They also have to detail other pets in their current household, and confirm that they will not declaw.
