August - FINISHED FIP Treatment's Story
Meet Auggie — the cuddly zoom-master

Auggie is a perfect mix of playful energy and total sweetheart. Give him a toy mouse or a spring and he’s off — chasing, pouncing, and zooming with joy. He and his best friend Rumble are famous for their epic play sessions, racing back and forth whenever they get the chance. When the zoomies are over, Auggie transforms into a cuddly, affectionate snuggle-bug who loves attention just as much as playtime.

Auggie came to us from the same rescue as Rumble so both boys could receive treatment for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). He is currently undergoing treatment and doing well. While he did give us a few scares over the Thanksgiving holiday with some fever spikes, we were able to adjust his medications and dosages, and he’s back to feeling like his playful, loving self.

Despite everything he’s been through, Auggie remains a happy, social kitten who enjoys the company of people and other friendly cats — especially Rumble. The two share a deep bond and would love to be adopted together if possible.

Because Auggie and Rumble are currently in our isolation area while completing treatment, visits to meet them must be arranged with a Jefferson SPCA staff member.

Auggie is a resilient, joyful little guy with so much love to give. If you’re looking for an affectionate, energetic companion (or better yet, a bonded pair), Auggie and Rumble are ready to steal your heart.

If you’d like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.). We kindly ask that visits be made earlier in the day, as the last hour before closing is reserved for medications and end-of-day care.

Adoption Fee is $200/each or $350/pair. We like our kittens to have friends so we want a pair adoption if you have no other pets unless we know a specific kitten prefers to be alone. All kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.

DOWNLOAD our Adoption Application here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ahiajf6e6i0ox2hdl09jk/JSPCA-Application_2.0-Newest-Updates.pdf?rlkey=be9he1julh02etikl021k9plk&dl=0

All adoptions subject to approval.
