August's Story

Here's what you need to know about me:
I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.
If there are kids in my new home, I prefer them to be older than 6 and would prefer to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.
My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:Hi! I'm August! My foster mama knows me best, so she'll tell you all about me!

August and his sister Evie had a rough start to life and arrived very unsure about people. But with a little patience, lots of love, and more than a few Churus, August has blossomed into the sweetest little cuddle bug.

August could not only be a kitten model-he's also the perfect little gentleman! His sister Evie is much smaller than he is, and August is incredibly sweet with her, always letting her eat first and doing his best to be gentle when they wrestle. He has an easygoing, gentle, and affectionate personality. He's the shyer of the two when meeting new people, but he looks to his brave little sister for reassurance and happily follows her lead on all their kitten adventures.

August loves curling up with Evie by the window for a nap or to watch the world go by. He adores pets and has become quite the purr machine-in fact, sometimes he starts purring just when he sees one of his favorite people! And while he has plenty of toys to choose from, his beloved Wobble Mouse from the pet store by QFC wins every time.
