He showed up as a stray belonging to no one, or maybe was left behind; we may never know. But what we do know is that he was suffering, with a severe leg injury and no one to help him... until a kind rescuer stepped in and gave him a chance.<br/><br/>Audie was trapped and brought to safety, and from there began a long journey of healing. Two surgeries... (his back leg had to be amputated) weeks of recovery... and through it all, not once did he lose his sweet, loving spirit.<br/><br/>He could have been fearful.
