Meet Aubrey! <br/><br/>If you were designing the quintessential boy kitten, you might end up with Aubrey. <br/><br/>He's playful, curious, affectionate, outgoing, ridiculously handsome, and always ready for whatever comes next. Aubrey loves a good round of zoomies or an enthusiastic wrestling match just as much as he loves settling in with his people for attention and cuddles.<br/><br/>He's currently fostered with his friend Geometry, and the two have plenty of fun together. Kitten races through the house, wrestling matches, tunnels, cat trees, wand toys, spring toys — if it moves, rolls, bounces, or can be chased, Aubrey is interested. And once he's finally worn himself out, he's more than happy to switch gears and soak up some affection. <br/><br/>Aubrey is cat-friendly, dog-friendly, and good with cat-savvy kids. He has excellent litter box manners, an easygoing personality, and has settled beautifully into indoor family life.<br/><br/>His story began in Columbus, Mississippi, where Aubrey and his brother Austin were abandoned in the parking lot of the Malco Movie Theater. These were two very tame little kittens who clearly didn't belong outside. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan found them, kept them safe, and contacted Animal Control, which ultimately brought the brothers into our rescue.<br/><br/>And there's already been one very happy ending: Austin has been adopted! <br/><br/>Now it's Aubrey's turn.<br/><br/>He's got the looks, the personality, the kitten antics, and the cuddles — basically everything wonderful about a young boy cat wrapped up in one very handsome package.<br/><br/>Aubrey is ready for a family of his own. <br/><br/>Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.<br/><br/>All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
