Atticus's Story

Atticus is a very special boy who was rescued off the streets of Nee Orleans. He was found with a terrible open wound to his neck that took surgical closure and laser therapy to repair. During his recovery, he decided he wanted to be an indoor cat, laying around on the couch with his foster humans. He absolutely loves people, getting petted, cuddles, and the air conditioner! He loves sleeping with his human, being the "little spoon", and giving nose boop kisses. He also will just crawl right up in your lap and fall asleep. His foster parents say he is the most affectionate cat they have ever met.

The only problem is that Atticus does not get along with other cats. Probably because he had to fight them his whole life outside. He now just wants to be an only child and get all of his humans attention all to himself. So if you are looking for a single cat to just hang out and spend time with, Atticus is your guy!

Attiicus is estimated to be around 3-5 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He is feline leukemia and heartworm negative. But he is FIV positive, although this will not be an issue since he needs to be an only cat.
